MYTH Board Game

The latest fully co-op dungeon crawl to hit the shelves, Myth, pits up to five players against “the Darkness” (i.e. standard fantasy baddies, not the most-excellent rock band). Unlike many games within the same genre, in Myth there is no opposing player; rather, the game features a unique system that responds to the actions of the Heroes, altering the story and the difficulty based on their choices. The game emphasizes storytelling while also featuring a full line of tabletop miniatures from the design team behind MERCS. Though it comes with a hefty price tag, Myth seems to offer a good amount of variety and room for expansion.

A Game of Thrones LCG: The Champion’s Purse Chapter Pack

The next installment in the AGoT LCG looks to further expand the use of the “Prized” keyword, as well as give some new bite to Mercenary units. As usual, this chapter pack will include 60 new cards from across the Houses and will feature a few new characters. Of note is the new version of Ser Edmure Tully, which features a shiny new stat-line that is sure to offer some fun new deckbuilding options.
